This notice applies to the SiteReceipt website and browser-based screenshot comparison tool operated by RION Co., Ltd. It does not apply to websites, project systems, or storage services where you later share a downloaded report.
Plain-language summary
- Screenshot files you select are decoded and compared on your device. SiteReceipt does not upload their image contents to its application server for comparison.
- SiteReceipt does not require an account for the public comparison tool.
- The hosting infrastructure receives ordinary web-request information needed to deliver and protect the site.
- SiteReceipt does not currently operate an advertising integration or set advertising cookies. If advertising is introduced, this notice and the consent interface will be updated before activation where required.
- Files you download or share are under your control after they leave the browser page.
Data covered by this notice
Information you choose in the tool
This includes the before and after screenshot files you select and any labels or report details you enter. The current comparison is designed to process that content locally in the browser. You do not need to provide a name, email address, or account profile to compare images.
Information generated by your browser
The tool may calculate image dimensions, local comparison results, and visual summaries needed to render the interface and create a download. These values are handled in the active browser session. A downloaded report is saved to the location your browser or device chooses.
Website request information
When you visit a hosted website, the browser sends technical request data such as IP address, request time, requested path, user-agent information, and security or error signals. Hosting and security providers may process this data to transmit the page, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and maintain service reliability.
How selected screenshots are handled
SiteReceipt uses browser file and canvas capabilities to decode and compare the images you select. The image content is not transmitted to a SiteReceipt application endpoint for the comparison. It remains available to the active page only as needed to show the source images, calculate the comparison, and generate your requested output.
Reloading or closing the page ends the active comparison under normal browser behavior. Your browser, operating system, extensions, or managed device policies may retain temporary data outside SiteReceipt’s control. SiteReceipt does not promise that a sensitive screenshot is safe merely because processing is local. Use authorized test data and redact personal or confidential information that is not needed for the review.
Hosting, security, and retention
SiteReceipt relies on infrastructure providers to deliver the website and mitigate malicious traffic. These providers may retain request or security logs for limited periods according to their operational and legal requirements. RION Co., Ltd. may access aggregated or incident-level information when needed to investigate reliability, abuse, or security.
SiteReceipt does not use screenshot contents for model training, advertising profiles, or human review because those contents are not uploaded to SiteReceipt for comparison. If a future feature requires server storage or an account, it will receive a separate disclosure and appropriate user choice before collecting that content.
Cookies, consent, and future advertising
At the effective date above, SiteReceipt does not operate Google AdSense or another advertising integration and does not intentionally set nonessential advertising cookies. Essential hosting or security measures may use technical storage when necessary to operate or protect the site.
If SiteReceipt introduces Google AdSense, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, IP address, device and browser signals, page interactions, and ad-event data to deliver, limit, secure, and measure advertising. The precise handling depends on the visitor’s region, consent choice, Google settings, and the ad configuration. You can read how Google uses information for advertising.
Before enabling personalized or non-personalized ads where consent rules apply, SiteReceipt intends to deploy a Google-certified consent management platform, present the required choices, and update this notice with the active vendors and controls. The site will not describe advertising as active until that integration is actually enabled.
Service providers and disclosures
RION Co., Ltd. may use hosting, content-delivery, security, and domain providers that process request data on its behalf. If advertising is activated later, Google and listed advertising vendors may process data as described in the updated consent interface and notice.
We may disclose information when required by applicable law, to respond to a valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of SiteReceipt, its users, or the public. We do not sell screenshot contents. We do not receive those image contents through the local comparison flow.
Your choices and responsibilities
- Do not select a screenshot you are not authorized to process.
- Use synthetic or redacted data for sensitive workflows.
- Close or reload the page to end the active comparison.
- Manage downloaded files through your device and storage services.
- If advertising is introduced, use the consent controls presented on the site and Google’s advertising settings where available.
Depending on your location, you may have rights concerning personal data held by RION Co., Ltd., including access, correction, deletion, objection, or restriction. The local comparison flow usually leaves RION with no screenshot content to retrieve. Contact us with enough detail to identify any other relevant interaction, and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Children
SiteReceipt is a professional utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly request personal information from children through the public comparison tool.
International processing
Hosting and security providers may process request data in countries outside your own. Their contractual and legal safeguards apply to that processing. Local screenshot comparison remains on the device running your browser unless you choose to transmit the output elsewhere.
Changes to this notice
We may revise this notice when SiteReceipt’s features, providers, legal obligations, or advertising status change. The effective date at the top will identify the current version. A material change to screenshot handling or advertising will be disclosed before or when the revised practice begins, as appropriate.
