These terms govern access to SiteReceipt, its browser-based screenshot comparison tool, guides, and generated outputs.

Effective date: July 12, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

SiteReceipt is operated by RION Co., Ltd. By accessing or using the website, comparison tool, guides, or downloads, you agree to these terms and the privacy notice. If you use SiteReceipt on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.

If you do not agree, do not use the service. Additional written terms may apply to a future paid, account-based, or enterprise feature. Those terms will control for that feature if they conflict with this public-site agreement.

2. What SiteReceipt provides

SiteReceipt provides a browser-based utility for inspecting visible differences between two image files, along with educational content about screenshot comparison, visual QA, reporting, and review workflows. The public tool is intended to assist human review. It does not make release, compliance, design, contractual, or legal decisions.

We may improve, limit, suspend, or discontinue a feature. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, support every file, reproduce the same browser-specific rendering forever, or remain free of errors. Avoid relying on SiteReceipt as the only copy of a file or the only test for a critical release.

3. Your files, rights, and generated outputs

Your responsibility for screenshots

You retain rights you already hold in files you select. You are responsible for having permission to capture, process, compare, download, and share those files. Do not use SiteReceipt to process confidential, personal, copyrighted, or restricted material without appropriate authority and safeguards.

Local processing

The current comparison flow is designed to decode and compare selected screenshots in your browser. Local processing reduces transmission of image contents to SiteReceipt, but it does not remove risks created by your device, browser, extensions, screen sharing, downloads, backups, or any service where you later send the output.

Downloads and reports

You may use a generated report or comparison image in your own review, project, or client workflow, subject to rights in the source files and applicable law. You are responsible for checking the output before using it. Keep an independent record of approvals, requirements, and test evidence when the decision matters.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use SiteReceipt to:

  • violate law, regulation, contract, privacy, or intellectual-property rights;
  • process material obtained through unauthorized access;
  • probe, disrupt, overload, bypass, or interfere with the service or its security;
  • introduce malicious code or attempt to access another user’s device or data;
  • misrepresent a comparison result, report, or approval record;
  • automate requests in a manner that degrades service for other visitors;
  • remove notices or falsely imply endorsement by RION Co., Ltd.

We may restrict access reasonably believed to violate these terms or threaten the service. This does not create a duty to monitor local image contents, which are not uploaded through the current comparison flow.

5. Important disclaimers

SiteReceipt and its content are provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. RION Co., Ltd. disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted operation where those disclaimers are legally permitted.

A pixel difference is not a defect determination. A quiet comparison is not proof that a page is correct, accessible, secure, or functionally complete. Results depend on the selected images, dimensions, browser decoding, capture conditions, and sensitivity. Read the methodology before treating an output as evidence.

Third-party services and links

SiteReceipt may link to third-party websites or rely on infrastructure providers. Third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies. RION Co., Ltd. is not responsible for their content, controls, or availability. If advertising is introduced later, the site will disclose the active integration and relevant consent controls.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RION Co., Ltd. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, data, goodwill, or opportunity arising from use of or inability to use SiteReceipt.

Where liability cannot be excluded, RION Co., Ltd.’s aggregate liability arising from the free public service will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid specifically for the affected SiteReceipt service during the three months before the event or USD 25. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.

Indemnity

To the extent allowed by law, if you use SiteReceipt for an organization, you agree to defend and indemnify RION Co., Ltd. against third-party claims arising from your unauthorized files, unlawful use, or material breach of these terms. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim is caused by RION Co., Ltd.’s own unlawful conduct.

7. Changes, severability, and governing law

We may update these terms to reflect service, legal, or operational changes. The effective date identifies the current version. Continued use after revised terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. If a material change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it as applicable.

If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms without written consent from RION Co., Ltd.; we may assign them in connection with a merger, reorganization, or transfer of the service.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts with jurisdiction over RION Co., Ltd.’s principal place of business will hear disputes, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to another forum.
